Ayla Clinic
A women's wellness clinic, online

About Ayla Clinic
Ayla Clinic is a pharmacist-led women's wellness clinic in Leicester, founded by clinical aesthetic pharmacist Hafsa Said. It offers hormone and cycle-care consultations, cupping therapy and clinical facials, focused on women's hormonal health (PCOS, cycle, menopause). It is a small, practitioner-led clinic whose website has to carry the trust the care depends on, and stay current as the founder adds to it.
Objectives
- Give a practitioner-led clinic a site that carries the trust its care depends on.
- Present each treatment on its own page, in the clinic's own considered voice.
- Let the founder publish a wellness journal herself, without a developer.
- Turn readers into booked appointments, and enquiries that reach a real person.
- Make the clinic easy to find for women searching for hormone and cycle care.
The Challenge
A practitioner-led clinic lives on trust, and a template with a booking button does not earn it. Ayla's care is careful and personal (hormone health, cycle, cupping, facials for women), and the site had to feel the same, while still being something the founder could keep adding to herself between clients, and something a woman searching for this kind of care would actually find.
The Approach
The decision was to treat the site as the clinic's voice, not a brochure. Each treatment gets its own page written in plain, reassuring language rather than a features grid; the founder gets a journal she can write and publish herself; and booking is handed cleanly to the platform the clinic already runs on, rather than rebuilt in-house. The site's whole job is to move a reader from understanding the care to booking it.
The Solution
The site is a fast, brand-led set of pages: a page per treatment in the clinic's own voice, an About that leads with the founder, and a journal of wellbeing articles. Behind a private login, the founder writes and publishes journal posts herself, images and all. Booking is a clean handoff to the clinic's booking platform, and a contact form emails the clinic directly.
Built as a React single-page app on Vite, styled with Tailwind and shadcn/ui, with the journal and its images in Supabase behind a private admin. The treatment and brand pages are built into the site for speed; the journal is the one part that changes often, so it is the one part the founder edits, with appointments handed to a booking platform and enquiries to a mail handler that already do their jobs well. Structured data marks the site up as a medical business so search engines place it correctly.
A page for every treatment
Each treatment (the hormone consultation, cupping, the cycle-reset programme, the facials) gets its own page, written in plain, reassuring language rather than a pricing grid. A woman can understand what a session actually involves before she books, which is exactly what a careful, personal service needs.
- One page per treatment, in the clinic's own voice
- What a session involves, not a features table
- A clear route from reading to booking

A journal the clinic writes itself
The Journal, notes on hormones, cycles, skin and holistic care, is written and published by the founder herself, from a private admin with a proper editor and image uploads. It keeps the site alive between appointments and gives the clinic a reason to show up in search, all without a developer.
- The founder writes and publishes posts herself
- A real editor with image uploads, behind a private login
- Fresh content that also helps the clinic get found
Only the journal is editable; the treatment pages are built in. That keeps the site fast and the admin simple, at the cost of a developer touch when a treatment's details change, a fair trade for pages that rarely move against a journal that grows every week.

Enquiries that reach a person
The contact form emails the clinic directly, with the sender set as the reply-to, so a question reaches a real person and can be answered in one click. Booking itself is handed to the clinic's booking platform, so appointments land where the clinic already manages them.
- The contact form emails the clinic, ready to reply
- Booking handed to the clinic's existing platform

Conclusion
Ayla Clinic now has a site that carries its care: treatment pages in the clinic's own voice, a journal the founder keeps writing, and a clean path to booking, on a fast site built to be found by the women it is for.
